Where curiosity turns into inspiration and growth.

That was when Doug suggested bringing the format to the coworking space he was managing at the time.

Max Ventures gave Mallorca Minds its first public home. Over the following two years, what had begun with around twelve people grew into evenings with more than sixty curious minds. Eventually, we reached the point where there were barely enough chairs, or space, for everyone who wanted to join.

But the idea remained the same: bring together people who might not otherwise meet and give them something meaningful to talk about.

Finding the right place for the community’s next chapter was not easy. After exploring several possibilities, Rosemary, already part of the Mallorca Minds community, introduced us to Hotel Amic Horizonte.

In September 2026, around 120 people joined the first Curiosity Night at our new location.

It was a big step, but it also felt completely natural: once again, the community itself had helped Mallorca Minds find its way forward.

New formats are taking shape quickly as people in the community step forward with ideas and a wish to contribute. Alongside local gatherings on Mallorca, online sessions are opening up more ways to take part.

The community is also reaching beyond Palma, with gatherings now in the north of the island. Growth is not only about larger individual events, but about more places and ways to meet, learn and exchange experiences.

We are in conversation with potential partners and sponsors, including companies interested in working with Mallorca Minds. These relationships are still developing, with the aim of supporting what the community is building next.

We want Mallorca Minds to be a community where curiosity brings people together across backgrounds, interests and parts of the island, with ways to stay connected online too.

A place where an idea heard on stage can become a conversation, a shared interest can become a new format, and anyone who wants to contribute can help shape what comes next.

As the community grows, we want to keep what made those first living-room evenings matter: learning from one another, discovering unexpected perspectives and making meaningful connections.
